• available in 1/72 and 1/48 scale versions

• This set is jam packed with approximately 450-500 characters per set, featuring at least 4 of each letter and number element plus extra number sets and special characters that were particular to aircraft using each colour’s tailcode markings. Characters have a nominal 1/1 scale height of 280mm (approximately 6mm at 1/48 scale), a popular size for many single-engined types. Can be used for larger codes (nominally 420mm) on 1/72 scale aircraft.

Since re-releasing our IJN Aircraft Tail Codes series of decals as screen-printed editions, a number of reviews have popped up online andin print. Follow the links below to go to the ones we are aware of so far…
