Aircraft covered in this set:
• Ventura GR.V2195 as Bombing & Gunnery Trainer "GM•N", Air Armaments School, RCAF Station Trenton, Ontario in newer VC-era markings after the School's code changed from "DK" to "GM" – probably from 1949 into the early 1950s.
• Ventura GR.V(TT) 2222 decked out in "Oxydol Special" yellow and black Target Tug finish, Air Armaments School, RCAF Station Trenton, Ontario, on detachment to RCAF Station Sea Island, British Columbia, from February 1948 into the early 1950s.
• Ventura GR.V(TT) 2254 also in the yellow and black Target Tug finish, Air Armaments School, RCAF Station Trenton, Ontario in newer VC-era markings in use from June 1948 into the early 1950s.
• Ventura GR.V 2263 as Bombing & Gunnery Trainer "DK•R", Air Armaments School, RCAF Station Trenton, Ontario in VC-era markings from the summer of 1948 into the early 1950s.
* Black and white laser prints are supplied in the package, and a high resolution, home/office-printable, colour PDF version is made available via email after purchase (automatically sent for direct-purchase customers).
Richly detailed Docs file – the Aviaeology "magazine article in a decal bag" you may have heard about – as a PDF that you can zoom in to high magnification on-screen, or print out. Internet-connected registered owners of the decal set get the colour docs PDF for free.
Documentation includes markings full placement and painting instructions for all subject aircraft, including specification-change variations, plus a number of useful reference photographs. Additional material in this particular set's Docs include a period Avro Canada-produced illustration of the interior nose mods made for the B&G role, and a manufacturers illustration, with modelling notes, of the combination marker-range aerial fitted beneath the bomb bay. The overall package is laced throughout with modeller-friendly notes and details related to each individual aircraft.
A separate general decal preparation / application instruction sheet completes the package.
